Joelle Beekman has been a wedding photographer for over 9 years and is also an organic flower farmer and seasonal wedding florist. Her passion for photography and flowers started flowing into the same direction which was the wedding industry, making the next step inevitable. With all the wedding knowledge that she holds it was time to level up; an all inclusive elopement package called Eloping Amongst The Dahlias. Joelle has opened up her 50m by 14m flower field on her property for couples to get married amongst the dahlias where she will document the elopement in a field filled with colour and beauty. Her field is located in Port Huon, Tasmania and because it’s on a hill it has the spectacular view of the Huon River and surrounding mountains.

This all inclusive elopement wedding package is a completely unique experience like you’ve never seen before, all you have to do is come down to the Huon Valley and get dressed for your wedding – everything else has been taken care of. The wedding location; a gorgeous flower field filled with dahlias, roses and wildflowers, a professional wedding photographer, a fun and trustworthy celebrant, a fresh seasonal bouquet from the field, a stunning and unique ceremony setup in the dahlia aisle decorated with floral arrangements and rose petals in PLUS a complimentary champagne bottle to kick start celebrations.

Field vision for 2026;
The bottom section of the field has been planted into a wildflower maze, in the massive middle section you will find tight rows of 450 dahlias planted in a mixed colour palette and the top section is a fantasy rose garden with a circle in the middle which will be optimal for romantic photos. The rose garden will be in its first year so the main focus for 2026 will be the dahlias and the wildflower maze.
The field has 2 different views; one of the Huon River and mountains, the other of the forest behind our land. Both equally stunning and you can choose which view you prefer for your ceremony. 
This is the first year I’m offering this combined package (YAY!) hence I don’t have photos of the field fully in bloom. I hope my explanation of my vision has helped you visualise your flower-filled elopement 🌸

The field is growing strongly at the moment and will be in full bloom at the end of Feb 2026. This means that bookings are now officially open for 2026 and if you’re planning on eloping during the months of Feb, March and April as that’s when the dahlias put on their best show then don’t wait around and contact me to book in your special day! Weekdays and weekends are both accepted however spaces are limited each week as my main focus is quality over quantity. A 25% deposit is required to make a booking and a payment plan will be created for your convenience and peace of mind. 

Customise your package for your own convenience, I love tweaking and designing your special day. You can refer to the additional services above. We’ll create a colour palette, make a day schedule and you can relax because the pros will handle everything.

***In case of extreme rain or bad weather the whole package can be moved to another day without extra charge. However if it’s only a bit of rain we will go ahead and clear umbrellas will be provided. This is an adventurous elopement package so couples are expected to have an open mind and positive attitude for whatever Mother Nature throws at us.
