Floral arrangements 🌻

In case you didn’t know I’m also a local organic flower farmer and I supply weddings with all sorts of floral arrangements, how exciting! My growing range is very extensive from native flowers and foliage to big showy dahlias and dainty daisies to feathery grasses and dried seedpods. I also forage for materials that I’m not growing yet so if you have requests for particular flowers I try my best to source them (or something similar) and dry them before your wedding/event. Everything is grown organically and without pesticides or preservatives so you can compost your flowers after use.

A little big about my style – I work with the seasons and some times Mother Nature makes her own rules which means some flowers can be later or earlier than usual. I don’t buy in any flowers or foliage materials as they are often treated with chemicals so as my customer it’s best to keep an open mind about the end result. It will match your vision but it might vary slightly depending on my flowers that week.

Everything is custom created according to your colour palette and preferences. Every single item is completely unique as there are no two the same. All you have to do is explain your vision to me and together we will create the floral arrangements of your dreams 🌿

Packaging is already included in the pricing:
Everything will be packaged in repurposed boxes and vases to keep the fresh bouquets safe during transport and hydrated until your wedding day. You can keep everything that’s included in the packaging.

DIY WEDDING FLOWER PICKING

A unique experience for you and your favourite people to be more creative and involved with your wedding florals. Pick buckets full of flowers and branches for you to bring home and design your wedding own florals. This is also an amazing gift idea for the couple themselves if you’re still looking for a wedding present.

Your experience;
You’ll be welcomed with a glass of complimentary champagne into a huge field filled to the brim with colourful flowers. While you’re sipping your beverage I will give you a tour of the field and show you how to cut and prepare the flowers before popping them into the buckets. I will be there to guide you through the whole process. This will be a super fun and interactive experience to make the days before your wedding even more special. And as a special keepsake I’ll have my camera ready to take some fun snaps while everyone is picking flowers.

Pricing:
$399 for field entrance for the whole group (8 people max)
$3 per focal flower stem (dahlias, roses, sunflowers)
$2 per filler flower or foliage
Professional photos as a keepsake (the google gallery will be ready the same day)

Be expected to be in the field for about 1.5-2 hours. Buckets are complimentary and will be packed into boxes for easy transport, there’s no need to bring anything.

The flowers are best picked 1-2 days before the wedding. And if you wish to purchase any custom designed arrangements by Joelle, this will be the perfect day for collection as well.

FORTNIGHTLY BOUQUET SUBSCRIPTIONS

Spring subscriptions:
This subscription generally starts around October and finishes until the plants get too hot early summer. Flowers featured; ranunculus, daffodils, tulips.

Summer & autumn subscriptions:
This subscription starts around January and goes until first frost or when the flowers start to slow down. Flowers featured; dahlias, sunflowers, zinnias, snapdragons.

How does it work:
All you have to do is collect your bouquet from the Blue Flower Car in Port Huon (which is down in my paddock). The subscription is fortnightly and you’ll be given the same collection day for every pick up. You will also receive a text notification to remind you about your collection the day before. The cost is $25 and to reserve a spot on the waiting list that’s the amount needed for a deposit. After that your subscription will be ongoing until the flower season finishes or you can stop anytime you prefer. Payment needs to be completed the day before collection.
