Planning your wedding for 2026 & 2027
My style is a combination of candid and posed photography to give you the absolute best variety of memorable photos. I love capturing every moment as it happens in the best possible way but I also include some dramatic ‘staged’ photos that really make a statement. It’s important for me to create something truely unique by combining my artistic knowledge with your ideas and character – this way every wedding has something special.
Choosing a package
Each wedding has their own style and requirements so I’ve worked very hard to create packages that are perfect for every couple to make booking your photographer as simple as possible. Each package can be customised by adding products and adjusting hours.
Location
I’m a Hobart based photographer who loves to travel all of Tasmania for weddings. A small fee will apply if your location is more than 100km from Hobart.
Once you’ve decided to book me as your photographer we will organise a consultation & planning session. I will help you create a time schedule for the day, discuss details you might not have considered yet, help you become more confident in planning your dream wedding but most importantly we will get to know each other before the big day. I’m not a wedding planner but after photographing many weddings I know everything there is to know about how to create a natural flowing and relaxing wedding day.
Family sessions - 2026
Every session is unique and I promise we’ll have heaps of fun! Newborns, kids, dogs – nothing is impossible, I love to include everyone in the family. All shoots are on location and lucky for us there are plenty of beautiful places to choose from on our unique island. Your shoot will include a range of shots from wide angle to close ups, from individual portraits to fun family shots. Everything will be captured to ensure authenticity – fun moments, real moments, cheeky moments, the oh-so-sweet moments and all the other moments in between.

The magical flower package is a new and exciting experience Joelle has designed especially for capturing beautiful family photos in her 50m by 14m flower field in Port Huon. It features a wildflower maze, full of exciting corners to turn and flowers to run through. It has 450 dahlias planted in the middle section of the field which are designed in tight rows for optimum photography opportunities, it also has a 2m wide aisle which is 20 metres long and is called the dahlia aisle for fun family shots. The top section of the field is a rose garden but still in its infancy stage as they need a few years to establish. The field is located on a hill with the views of the Huon River so the whole experience will be an adventure for the family especially the kids who will be busy exploring the field.
At the end of this session you can pick a bouquet together with the family, Joelle will show you which flowers are best for cutting.

What the session includes:
– 30 minute photography session in the field
– 15 edited photos in a private online gallery
– 10 minutes of flower picking for one bouquet

Only available in March and early April 2026
*$100 deposit upon booking is required, payment plans are available.
**I always shoot many more photos during a session so you can also purchase the full gallery which will be about 40+ photos, the additional cost for this will be $150. This can be worked into the payment plan or you can decide it after viewing the images.
