My wedding photography combines candid storytelling with beautifully guided portraits and a touch of creative drama. I’ll step in when you need direction and give you space when you don’t, creating a gallery that captures both how your wedding looked and how it felt.
Couples & Engagement Photography

You don’t need to be comfortable in front of a camera or know how to pose. Couples sessions are about relaxing, having some fun, and allowing your personalities and connection to come through.
We’ll choose a location that suits you and create a mixture of romantic, playful and natural photographs. Bring your partner, your personality, and even the dog or kids if they’re part of your story.
Joelle’s existing couples offering specifically welcomes both, and everything in between.

With more than 15 years behind the camera, I’ve learned to work with the personalities and unpredictability that come with photographing families.

Maternity Photography

Pregnancy is such a significant chapter, yet it’s one that passes remarkably quickly once your little one arrives.
A maternity session gives you the opportunity to slow things down and create something beautiful that celebrates you and the life you’re growing.
Whether you want something soft and natural or more creative and fashion-inspired, we’ll create photographs that feel like you.

Newborn Photography

Tiny fingers. Sleepy expressions. The way they fit into your arms. Those first weeks are filled with details that change almost before you realise they’re changing.
Newborn photography is about preserving those little details while also capturing your new family together.
Rather than expecting everything to go perfectly, we’ll work around your baby and create relaxed, natural photographs of this very new chapter of family life.

Portrait Sessions in the Flower Field
Step into something a little magical.
Hidden away in Port Huon is my own flower field, filled with dahlias, roses, wildflowers and seasonal blooms overlooking the Huon River. It’s a colourful, ever-changing setting created with photography in mind.
The flower field is available for family, children’s, maternity and couples photography during its main flowering season.
Sessions are designed to be an experience as much as a photoshoot; Joelle’s current deluxe flower-field session even finishes with time to pick a bouquet together.
Eloping Amongst The Flowers
What if you got married amongst them?
For couples dreaming of something intimate and completely different, you can do more than have your photographs taken in the flower field; you can get married there too.
Elope Amongst The Flowers is Joelle’s intimate Port Huon elopement experience, combining the flower-field ceremony with photography, florals, a celebrant and ceremony styling.
With the Huon River and surrounding mountains behind you, it’s a beautifully simple way to say I do surrounded by flowers and a small group of your favourite people.
